Carly Treece
Co-Founder, President and Creative Director
Carly Treece (she/her) is a citizen of the Mvskoke Nation with Cherokee ancestry, Carly’s work is rooted in her deep connection to her heritage and her commitment to fostering spaces that celebrate and amplify Indigenous voices.
With a background in multidisciplinary art and curation, Carly is passionate about creating opportunities for Native women to share their stories through creative expression. She is the owner of Tvlse Studios, a platform for Indigenous artists, and has curated numerous exhibitions highlighting Native and BIPOC artists. In addition to her work as an artist and curator, Carly has been an advocate for land and body sovereignty, believing these themes are integral to the strength of Indigenous communities.
Carly’s leadership in Four Mothers Collective is driven by her desire to create lasting change within her community. As President and Founder, she is deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the collective, working alongside other members to provide resources, support, and a platform for Native women and Two-Spirit artists to thrive. Through her work, Carly continues to foster a space where tradition and contemporary art merge, allowing Native women and Two-Spirit artists to reclaim their voices and share their creative legacies.
